Some Smithsonian Folkways interns and staff gathered in Arlington last weekend to bid farewell to our man Kevin, who’s wrapping up a year-long internship. We were instructed to bring vegetable side dishes and instruments.

Here’s what it sounds like when a bunch of American folk music nerds hang out in one room away from the office. Featuring Kevin Parme, Jackson Sinnenberg, Dave Van Dusen and David Horgan on guitar,¬†Anders Fahey on banjo, Jonathan Newton on cello and Dan Bullard on piano (and the girls sang some backup):

So happy I get to keep working here! But it will be a quieter place without Kevin.
